Great features and it plays everything I've thrown at it so far via DVD, USB and SD. This is a great feature because we use it for our daughter in the car with the included headrest bag (nice accessory), but in order to use the bag you have to swivel the screen 180 degrees and fold it back on the main unit (works well).Overall a great a great buy for the money, hopefully it lasts. This player is nice, the build quality leaves a little to be desired, but for the price it's alright. Recognizes SDHC cards (I use an 8gb) full of Divx files no prob and plays them back to back without having to use the controls or remote.
I use this on a boat where there is a lot of vibration, no problems after about 80 hours of use
The only drawback I thought was that once folded to fit in to car pouch the controls are not available. It was great to have this player on my long drive. If you are ok with that then you will really like this player. I have been using this player for only couple of months, but I think it is a great player. Having options of memory card and USB is a really plus. You will have to carry remote control on your trips.
All said, I'd recommend it. Living in Tokyo we take trains a lot and she can perch on her seat with the movie in her lap. Picked this up for my daughter so she could watch her DVDs on the go. It does a great job: it's inexpensive, easy to use, and the divx videos play great. She likes it better than the ipod touch, the screen is bigger and she doesn't have to hold it the entire time.
I needed a portable DVD player for the car that can handle.AVI files and had USB input, this player is amazing. you cant.
I will one more for my kids, this one is mine.Thank you Coby, thank you amazon for great service I read another users review, converted my files to 480X272 AVI format using a free "convert anything" tools and the result were DVD quality from USB stick.
you have to register with DIVX and it still wouldn't play. AWESOME.
I don't write review's but since I read a lot here before I buy, I guess I should. I recently bought the 9 inch Philips because it was Divx certified, I thought I could just burn data CD and play it, Wrong.
The picture and sound on this thing is amazing for its size and all the stuff that comes with it a bonus.
